I can't believe that the trial is already over after only like, 3 or 4 chapters! Even in that little amount of reading, I had totally forgotten about Arthur (Boo) Radley! Scout starts 3rd grade and has to pass by the Radley house again everyday. . . I actually had to think about who they were for a couple seconds. And it's really depressing how Tom died. But I'm kind of confused about what his wife's name is. Is she Hellen or Sophy? Because during the refreshment party thing that Aunt Alexandra had, Mrs. Merriweather was talking about her "sulky darky" who I thought was named Sophy. And they were talking about this Sophy character like she was Tom's wife. But then when Atticus goes to tell Tom's family of the death, he calls her Hellen. So who is Sophy?

I don't think there is an important character named Sophy. During the little meeting, there was a lot of chatter about some useless things. The mention of "Sophy" was probably one of them.
